Senior Environmental & Air Permitting Manager (Leadership Role)Marietta, GA (Preferred) | ~20% Travel | Day Shift (8 AM – 5 PM)Compensation & PerksSalary: Up to $160,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)Bonus: 4–8% targetPTO: 3 weeks + 1 extra week accrued annually (up to 3 additional weeks)Relocation: Supported (Atlanta area strongly preferred)The OpportunityStep into a high-impact leadership role where you’ll bridge the gap between clients and engineering teams, ensuring organizations across the U.S. stay compliant with environmental regulations—especially under the Clean Air Act.You’ll lead a team of talented environmental engineers, shape compliance strategy, and directly influence major industrial clients. This is more than a technical role—it’s a strategic, client-facing leadership position with real influence.What You’ll DoLead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 environmental engineers per projectOversee air permitting compliance (Title V, PSD, NESHAP, emissions inventories, etc.)Guide projects involving air, water, and waste regulationsServe as the key liaison between clients and internal engineering teamsInterpret environmental data and drive strategic compliance decisionsManage multiple client accounts, proposals, and project deliverablesEnsure timely, high-quality submissions: permit applications, SWPPP, SPCC, Tier II, TRI, RMP, and moreBuild strong relationships with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholdersChampion team growth, performance management, and continuous improvementHelp drive operational excellence and digital transformation initiativesWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (required)10+ years in environmental compliance consulting(Open to 6+ years with strong leadership experience)2+ years of leadership experience preferredDeep expertise in air permitting under the Clean Air ActProven experience working with multiple clients in a consulting environmentStrong knowledge of:Emissions calculations (AP-42, mass balance, engineering judgment)Title V, NSPS, NESHAP, PSD regulationsAbility to own projects end-to-end and manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication, technical writing, and client-facing skillsProfessional certification (PE, CHMM, or similar) required or strongly preferredWhat Sets You Apart Experience with air dispersion modelingStrong project management skills (PMP a plus)Ability to translate complex regulations into practical, cost-effective solutionsPassion for mentoring and developing high-performing teamsWhy This Role?Work with a diverse national client baseBe a key decision-maker in environmental strategyLead impactful projects that shape compliance and sustainabilityJoin a company that values innovation, leadership, and growth
