Senior Business AnalystLocation: On SiteClearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (Required) Position OverviewGoldenTech is seeking a Senior Business Analyst II to support Agile software development efforts within a secure federal environment. This role will work closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to translate mission needs into actionable requirements, ensuring delivered solutions meet operational and technical expectations. ResponsibilitiesRequirements Analysis & DocumentationGather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observationTranslate mission and business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteriaDevelop and maintain documentation including use cases, process flows, system requirements, and traceability matricesEnsure requirements traceability throughout the full project lifecycleProcess Analysis & ImprovementConduct gap analysis to identify differences between current and future state capabilitiesDevelop process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Recommend process improvements to enhance system performance and user outcomesStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with business users, product owners, developers, and program leadershipFacilitate discussions to elicit, refine, and validate requirementsServe as a liaison between technical teams and mission stakeholdersSystems Analysis & TestingAnalyze system functionality to ensure alignment with documented requirementsSupport system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activitiesAssist in identifying and resolving defects, gaps, and inconsistenciesData Analysis & ReportingDevelop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-makingAnalyze data trends and system outputs to inform business and technical recommendations Required Qualifications7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Agile software development programsExperience within DoD, Intelligence Community, or other federal environmentsActive TS/SCI clearance with CI PolyStrong experience translating business needs into Agile artifacts (epics, features, user stories)Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentationExperience supporting Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience conducting gap analysis and workflow/process analysisExperience supporting testing efforts, including UAT and system validation Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and secure system development lifecyclesExperience working in IL5/IL6+ environments or with federal security frameworks (e.g., RMF)Prior experience supporting mission-critical or classified systems
