Cloud Engineer

Own the cloud infrastructure behind our core products. We are hiring a Cloud Engineer in Miami, FL to modernize our cloud architecture and build the automated infrastructure that powers our software. THE OPPORTUNITY You'll work directly with our development and operations teams to build secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure. This role goes beyond routine maintenance. You'll automate provisioning, strengthen our security posture, and keep cloud costs under control as our systems grow. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Provision and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) * Build and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) * Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support fast, reliable deployments * Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to catch production issues early * Manage IAM policies, network security groups, and encryption across cloud resources * Troubleshoot production incidents, including networking, DNS, and load balancer issues * Review cloud usage regularly and right-size resources to reduce spend * Work with developers to apply cloud-native best practices to new applications * Document infrastructure, configurations, and operating procedures * Participate in an occasional on-call rotation for critical production issues REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering * Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) or a comparable cloud provider * Experience writing Infrastructure as Code to automate environment setup * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes * Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines * Working knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Python or Bash) * Solid understanding of cloud networking (subnets, VPNs, NAT, DNS) and security fundamentals * Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort digging into logs to find root causes * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience NICE TO HAVE * Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or the ELK stack * Scripting experience in Go * AWS or other cloud certifications POSITION DETAILS * Miami, FL (on-site) * Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours * $115,000 to $125,000 per year, based on experience * Must be authorized to work in the United States WHY JOIN US ?
