The founder is a Harvard graduate with a background at Jane Street.Onyx is based in New York City, with our office located in downtown Manhattan.Job DescriptionWe’re looking to add a Growth Analyst to our lean, fast-moving team. This role will work closely with Marketing, CRM, and User Acquisition to build, own, and scale how data is surfaced, interpreted, and acted on across the business.You’ll be responsible for developing strategies that go beyond reporting — helping teams understand why performance is changing and what actions to take next. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to product configuration, lifecycle marketing, and growth strategy.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain dashboards in Amplitude for product, CRM, and UA performanceDesign and develop Retool dashboards that consolidate data from multiple sourcesPartner with Marketing and CRM to define events, properties, and tracking standardsEnsure accurate configuration and validation of event-level dataAnalyze and extrapolate trends across acquisition, activation, retention, churn, LTV, ARPU, and ROISupport segmentation and targeting for lifecycle marketing and paid acquisitionTranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholdersRecommend improvements to tracking, dashboards, and measurement frameworksBackground2–5+ years of experience in analytics, growth, or marketing analyticsStrong hands-on experience with AmplitudeExperience building internal tools or dashboards using RetoolSolid understanding of event-based data models and instrumentationComfortable working with Marketing, CRM, and UA teamsAbility to extrapolate insights — not just report metricsStrong communication skillsNice to HaveSQL proficiencyExperience with CRM platforms (Customer.io, Braze, Iterable)Familiarity with UA platforms (Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads)Experience in mobile apps, gaming, fintech, or high-growth consumer productsInterest in sports gamingCompensation80k-150k
