As an experienced Infra Services VMWare Engineer/Project Delivery Specialist you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Project Delivery Model (PDM) is a talent model that is tailored specifically for long-term, onsite client service delivery.Work You'll Do/ResponsibilitiesThis project is to provide services to our client to support their medical benefits management applications, their VMWare infrastructure, VDI components and support their user base. VMware Environment Management:Install, configure, and manage VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter servers.Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the VMware infrastructure.Perform regular updates and patches to VMware components to ensure security and stability.Troubleshooting and Support:Provide Level 2/3 support for VMware-related issues, including performance tuning and optimization.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues within the virtual environment.Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex infrastructure problems.Capacity Planning and Optimization:Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis to ensure the environment meets current and future demands.Implement and manage resource allocation policies to optimize the use of virtual infrastructure.Backup and Disaster Recovery:Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for the VMware environment.Test and validate backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation of the VMware environment, including configurations, procedures, and policies.Generate regular reports on the performance, capacity, and health of the virtual infrastructure.Security and Compliance:Ensure the VMware environment complies with organizational security policies and industry standards.Implement security best practices and perform regular security audits.The Team Application Modernization & Innovation consultants leverage the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help our clients dream, explore, build, and optimize their future.
