Job Summary Role Summary: We are seeking an AR Specialist/Bookkeeper to add to our team. In this role, you will be managing and ensuring that our company's invoicing is accurate and sent out in a timely manner. In addition, you will be responsible for reporting on and performing initial collections requirements. You will maintain the product catalog, time entry for customer invoicing, data collection, and report creating. You must possess an ability to conduct independent research and analysis and share results with management and/or peers. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain and record a wide range of financial information and regularly check transactions for accuracy. Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses for the organization. Follow up on outstanding balances when necessary. Assist the team in preparing financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance. Ensure all the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation. Work closely with the finance team to create and analyze financial reports. Required Skills/Abilities: Proficient in executing tasks and delivering assignments with a strong emphasis on accuracy. Ability to develop and document processes to enhance efficiency and ensure clear guidelines. Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Initiative-taking, highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and multi-task. Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations. Demonstrated experience creating comprehensive financial statements and reports. Exceptional customer service skills to resolve issues promptly and support stakeholder needs. Strong knowledge using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and complex formulas. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus. Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO)?
