Assembly Technician
Assembly TechnicianThe Assembly Technician performs mechanical and electrical assembly and sub-assembly work on industrial machinery, both in the facility and at customer sites. This role suits individuals from recent electrical or technical school graduates through those with up to five years of experience. You will assemble, repair, and prepare equipment to engineering specifications while using a variety of tools and material handling equipment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and standards accurately.ResponsibilitiesAssemble industrial equipment and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and established company standards.Perform both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks on equipment, including repairs, builds, and preparation of machinery for use.Work from warranty orders, repair orders, and production schedules to complete assigned tasks on time and to specification.Use hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively to complete assembly and repair work.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.13 years of related mechanical and/or electrical assembly work experience desired.Moderate knowledge of general manufacturing processes and workflows.Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on industrial machinery and assemblies.Additional Skills & QualificationsSpecialized associate's degree in a related technical field is a plus.Experience with both electrical and mechanical assembly work on industrial equipment.Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Professional communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.Ability to estimate repair costs and understand the impact on schedules and resources.Why Work Here?This role offers a long-term opportunity to launch and grow your career in industrial assembly with a structured nine-month training period that builds both technical and practical skills.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leetsdale, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
