Security Specialist
Security SpecialistSignalink is looking for a Security Specialist to serve as an integral member of a team of government, military, and contractor personnel that provides programmatic, logistical, and technical support in the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) G2 (Security) Office.
Responsibilities & DutiesReview, coordinate, and monitor implementation of security policies and standard operating procedures
Develop and carry out local directives and guidance while maintaining program records
Set up internal security programs such as instruction and procedures for controlling and storing documents, office closing procedures, and locking and unlocking procedures for safes and desks
Perform inspections and reviews of classified containers to determine if appropriate security measures are taken to identify, mark, handle, store, transport, and ship classified material and the means, methods, and procedures of their destruction
Other duties as assigned
RequirementsMinimum of a High School Diploma
15+ years of applicable experience in a government or contractor setting
Must currently hold a DoD security clearance at the top-secret level or eligible to obtain.
Working knowledge of Army security procedures
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Desired QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with internal, external, technical, and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
Prior experience in an Army program office
