Senior BIM Engineer – Data Center Design

The company partners with leading AI labs and enterprises to deliver scalable, high-performance infrastructure and is rapidly expanding its internal design and engineering capabilities.
They are seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to support the design and delivery of hyperscale data center projects across the United States. This is a hands-on, modeling-focused role responsible for managing BIM environments, producing high-quality Revit models, and supporting a prefabrication-first approach to construction.
This position is ideal for someone with strong technical BIM expertise who enjoys detailed modeling work, multi-discipline coordination, and developing standardized workflows across large-scale infrastructure programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day management of BIM environments within Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including project setup, permissions, file structures, and coordination workflows
Develop and maintain high-quality Revit models across all project stages, from early concept through construction documentation
Produce drawings, sheets, schedules, and coordination models to IFC-level detail
Model prefabricated and modular systems to LOD 400, including MEP assemblies, structural skids, and electrical packages
Translate shop drawings and bills of materials into coordinated BIM models and validate constructability prior to fabrication
Run clash detection and coordination workflows using Navisworks and lead multi-discipline coordination efforts
Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and fabrication partners to ensure model accuracy and alignment
Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, families, and execution plans across projects
Automate workflows and improve efficiency using tools such as Dynamo
Support construction teams with model-based coordination, as-built updates, and digital closeout deliverables
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field
4+ years of hands-on BIM experience with strong Revit modeling capabilities
Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, including document management, coordination, and workflows
Experience producing high-quality BIM deliverables including models, drawings, and schedules
Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination
Understanding of BIM standards including LOD, BIM Execution Plans, and QA/QC processes

Strong coordination experience across architectural, structural, MEP, and civil disciplines
Willingness to travel (approximately 10–20%)
Preferred Experience
Experience working on data center, industrial, or mission-critical facility projects
Experience modeling prefabricated or modular systems to fabrication-level detail (LOD 400)
Familiarity with point cloud data and reality capture integration
Experience with tools such as SolidWorks, Power BI, or Autodesk APIs
Knowledge of COBie standards and digital handover workflows
Exposure to digital twin platforms
Experience working on the owner/developer side managing external consultant

Base salary of $200,000 – $250,000
