Location: Austin, TX and San Antonio, TX (projects throughout both metro areas)Industry: Commercial & Industrial ConstructionEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Description:We are hiring experienced Mechanical Pipefitters for commercial and industrial projects across Austin and San Antonio. Ideal candidates will have experience installing piping systems in commercial or heavy industrial environments such as hospitals, manufacturing plants, or data centers. We're looking for individuals who can read blueprints, lay out piping systems, and work independently or as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Measure, cut, thread, weld, and install mechanical/process piping systemsInstall systems for chilled water, hot water, steam, compressed air, fuel, and other mechanical servicesInterpret mechanical blueprints and isometric drawingsLayout piping systems from plans or verbal directionSecure piping, supports, valves, and components according to specificationsPerform pressure testing and assist in system startup when requiredMaintain a safe and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standardsRequirements:3+ years' experience as a mechanical pipefitter in commercial or industrial constructionSkilled in reading and interpreting mechanical plans and piping schematicsProficient with carbon steel, copper, stainless steel, and black iron pipingFamiliar with pipe joining methods: welding, grooving, threading, brazing, soldering, and ProPressOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated or confined spacesReliable transportation and punctual attendance required
