Electrical Maintenance Technician
About the Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical member of our technical team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of complex facility electrical systems. You will play a vital role in optimizing production uptime by applying your expertise in PLC/HMI systems and advanced troubleshooting to keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Optimize production efficiency by maintaining and troubleshooting PLC/HMI information systems.
Ensure all facility machinery operates within OEM specifications to maximize equipment longevity.
Execute complex electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on critical manufacturing assets.
Document all maintenance activities and electrical interventions within our CMMS to ensure accurate historical tracking.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production operators and plant leadership to resolve technical bottlenecks.
Uphold rigorous safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing electrical role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics and PLC ladder diagrams.
Demonstrated ability to operate diagnostic tools and perform electrical repairs independently.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on urgency and operational impact.
Preferred Skills
Technical school certificate in electronics or electro-mechanical technology.
Direct experience with Allen-Bradley control systems.
Prior experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Possession of a Journeyman’s License or equivalent certification.
