Tax Senior Associate What you will be doing As an Experienced Tax Senior Associate, you are a vital part of the Tax Team working with a diverse client base. You will be involved with the preparation of tax returns, with a particular focus on the preparation of more advanced and complex phases of tax projects. This position offers growth opportunities to work directly with other accounting professionals in our diverse industry. Managing multiple client engagements Preparation of more advanced and complex tax projects (1031 exchanges, NOLs, installment sales, income sourcing rules, identify tax‑saving opportunities for clients) Involved in reviewing staff level income tax returns Prepare work papers following the Firm's policies and procedures Perform complex tax research and draft tax‑related memos Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Taxation, Finance or other business related field; CPA preferred Minimum 3 years of current tax experience within a public accounting firm Proficient in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation Experience in managing multiple client engagements Client focused dedicated to client satisfaction, possessing excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate professional and courteous engagement with clients High-level proficiency with CCH products Desirous of career advancement High energy and motivation level Ability to think independently and solve problems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Tech savvy - high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), Tax programs (CCH Access including Document and Tax, PDFlyer, SurePrep, BNA Tax Planner, TValue, Quickbooks) Dedicated to teamwork and integrity maintaining positive relationships with all levels of firm management, staff, and clients Possess professional demeanor and excellent attention to detail Detail oriented and deadline-driven with excellent time management skills, meeting assigned deadlines and budgets At LSL CPAs, we offer competitive compensation and benefits package along with a supportive team‑focused environment. Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future. Salary $75,000 – $100,000. Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that LSL, LLP provides to compensate and recognize our professionals for their work. All exempt positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and all employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
