Programmer – Analyst III
ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, the Programmer/Analyst III is responsible for computer network administration and operations across multiple project sites. This role performs complex professional and technical duties related to the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer networks and communications hardware and software, including network and application servers, routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, and PC workstations. The position also supports IT disaster recovery systems and provides Level 2 and Level 3 technical support.Required Experience:Minimum of 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college with a degree in computer science or related field. Additional four years qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, positive attitude and keen attention to detail.Excellent collaborative and team skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non technical languageStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Current Windows Servers and Internet protocols: DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP,Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory Services, Entra ID, Office 365, and document SharePoint management systemExperience with VPN Appliances and Cisco Meraki AppliancesWorking knowledge of Enterprise Antivirus, CrowdStrike, Zoom Administration, Microsoft Teams, and network security including VPNs, ACLs, IPSEC, SSLExperience with Web site, intranet, and SharePoint support, and PowerShell scripting and automation. Able to develop scripted solutions to automate and/or simplify manual administrative processes and procedures.Experience with VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors, & cloud architectureKnowledge of Cybersecurity and privacy principles, Rubrik Backup and Recovery, and Nessus and SplunkPreferred Qualifications:Experience providing IT related support for a large construction bond programIndustry certifications such as Comp TIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Enterprise
