No exceptions.ResponsibilitiesUse professional locating equipment to track the drill head undergroundCommunicate realtime depth, pitch, and direction to the drill operatorEnsure the bore stays within approved alignment and depth tolerancesPrevent utility strikes by maintaining safe clearances at all timesWalk the bore path ahead of the drill and identify obstacles or hazardsConfirm entry and exit points match the approved bore planMark the bore path and maintain constant visual control of alignmentAssist with potholing and exposing utilities when requiredHelp set up pits and maintain safe, compliant work zonesSupport the drill operator and ground crew as neededThis role is critical to safe drilling operations.
