Advanced Rehab Center of Tustin - We are seeking a Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing the meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.Responsibilities:- In charge of meal preparation and cooking.- In charge of preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control- Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Dietary Manager- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines- Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred- Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsIf you are a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for serving others, we encourage you to apply for this position.
