Job Roles And ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returnsManage tax engagements from planning through completionReview returns prepared by staff and identify tax savings opportunitiesSupervise, mentor, and train junior staff and internsManage engagement budgets and project timelinesInteract directly with clients to gather information and resolve tax related issuesSupport business development activities and proposal preparationResearch federal, state, and foreign tax mattersIdentify process improvements and provide client recommendationsEnsure accurate and timely delivery during peak tax seasonsQualifications And CertificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related fieldEligible to sit for CPA examMinimum 3 to 5 years of public accounting tax experience requiredAt least one busy season experience as a Senior requiredStrong knowledge of US GAAP, federal, and state tax complianceExperience preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trustsStrong leadership, mentoring, and client communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple deadlines during busy seasonBenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceStandard firm benefits packageCareer growth opportunity toward Tax Manager roleProfessional development and mentorship opportunities
