3PL Procurement Specialist - Remote Contract

Procurement Specialist We’re partnering with a fast-moving, growth-focused organization seeking a Procurement Specialist to support complex indirect sourcing initiatives across multiple business functions. This role offers strong exposure to enterprise-wide procurement strategy, senior stakeholder engagement, and high-impact cost optimization efforts within a logistics and distribution-driven environment.Location• Remote. Candidates from Charlotte, NC or Auburn Hills, MI areas strongly preferred • Open to remote candidates aligned to EST hoursEmployment TypeW2 ContractDuration 4 Months+ highly possible extensionM-F, 40hrs/week, 8-5 ETWhat You’ll Do• Lead sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories including services, IT, facilities, and operational support • Drive end-to-end RFx processes including RFP, RFQ, and RFI execution • Develop category strategies informed by spend analytics and market intelligence • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, IT, HR, and Operations to align sourcing strategies with business goals • Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage performance metrics • Manage and collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to support warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations • Support commercial bid processes with pricing analysis and supplier cost modeling • Identify cost savings opportunities while improving supplier value and service delivery • Ensure procurement governance, policy adherence, and contract lifecycle managementWhat You Bring• Experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing • Strong background leading RFx events and supplier negotiations • Demonstrated experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, including coordination of warehousing, transportation, or distribution services • Ability to analyze spend data and develop actionable sourcing strategies • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment • Knowledge of supplier performance management and contract administration • Strong communication and commercial acumenWhy This Role• High visibility across multiple business units • Opportunity to influence sourcing strategy and cost optimization • Fast-paced environment with immediate impact • Exposure to diverse indirect categories and enterprise procurement operations
