Dental Assistant

Overview Idaho's Dentist is a dedicated private dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. Join our caring team as a Dental Assistant at Idaho's Dentist. In this role, you will support our dentist and Hygienists by providing excellent chairside assistance and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your contributions will help us uphold our commitment to patient-first care and high-quality dental services. Office is conveniently located in the valley near the freeway on Ten Mile. All aspects of dentistry are performed at the office including Root Canals, Oral Surgery, Cerec same day crowns, Invisalign, and Sedation. Office is brand new with two scanners, 3D printers, and Cerec mill. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following infection control protocols. Take dental X-rays accurately. Maintain patient records with attention to detail and confidentiality. Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for patients. Educate patients on oral health care and post-treatment instructions. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Uphold all safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Proficiency in dental software such as Open Dental, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix, our office used Open Dental. Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. Ability to take accurate X-rays and operate radiography equipment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.
