Courthouse Security Officer

Department: Sheriff Grade: 130 Salary: $20.60/hour Job Duties: Monitors electronic scanning equipment and control access of persons entering the courthouse, maintains physical control of public and employee access and checks for proper identification of employees entering the courthouse. Assists with courthouse evacuations dictated by emergency situations, provides overall security functions as directed and provides information to visitors and employees Minimum Qualifications: Must have a High School diploma or its equivalent One year of experience in security or a related field
