AI Platform Engineer

AI Platform Engineer II | Software Engineering + GenAIWe re looking for a senior software engineer who has evolved into AI platform development, with strong production coding and cloud experience not a data-engineering-heavy profile. The ideal candidate combines Python/Java/TypeScript, AWS, APIs, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes with hands-on LLM/GenAI, AWS Bedrock, and Copilot experience.Key Requirements5 7+ years of strong software/backend/platform engineering experience.Background as Senior Software Engineer, Senior Backend Engineer, or Senior Platform Engineer.Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or TypeScript.Hands-on experience building production applications, APIs, and backend services.Experience with AWS/cloud environments, preferably AWS Bedrock.Hands-on GenAI/LLM application development and production deployment.Experience integrating LLMs into applications, AI-powered APIs, or automated LLM workflows.Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar GenAI frameworks.Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, chatbots, or virtual assistants is a plus.Microsoft Copilot experience is important.Ability to independently own features end-to-end and mentor junior engineers.Ideal Profile: Strong software engineer first, AI engineer/platform developer second. Avoid candidates whose experience is primarily data engineering or AI tooling without substantial production software development.
