Part Time Night Fabricator

Night Time FabricatorSigns and Lines By Stretch is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Time Fabricator to join our Signs & Lines production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of road signs, pavement markings, and other traffic-related signage materials. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring quality and timely delivery for our clients, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency during off-peak hours.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate and assemble signs according to work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.Prepare and cut materials such as aluminum, vinyl, reflective sheeting, and thermoplastic.Operate machinery including plotters, laminators, CNC routers, and screen printers.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly used and stored.Conduct quality control checks to ensure signs meet regulatory standards (e.g., MUTCD, DOT).Package and label completed items for shipment or installation.Follow all workplace safety procedures, including use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials.Document production activities and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize urgent jobs and meet production deadlines.RequirementsPrevious experience in sign fabrication, screen printing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and safety instructions.Comfortable working independently on night shifts in a fast-paced production setting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Basic computer skills; experience with production software is a plus.Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
