Q Center is looking for a Full Time Storeroom Clerk to join our team!Job SummaryThe Storeroom Clerk is responsible for receiving and distributing all F&B goods and services as well as assisting in receiving and distributing other Q Center department goods. This position is also responsible for assisting with F&B controls through turnover, inventories as well as maintaining par stock levels in accordance with business volume. The Storeroom Clerk will organize and maintain F&B storeroom areas.Starting rate for this position is $17.00/hour.BenefitsPaid time off401(K) with employer matchHoliday PayMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Wellness CreditsEmployee Assistance ProgramBasic Life, AD&D Disability BenefitsEmployee MealsEducation & ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.The ability to demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of safe food handing standards and beverage management.Computer knowledge/skills required, including Windows, Microsoft Excel and word processing.Physical RequirementsFlexible and long hours sometimes required.Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.Ability to stand during entire shift.Fundamental RequirementsAssociates must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and fellow associates.Maintain radio contact throughout shift, responding to all inquiries in a timely manner using proper etiquette.Keep immediate supervisor informed of all matters requiring their immediate attention.Work with and understand financial data and basic arithmetic functions.Receive food and beverage items in a manner prescribed by F&B operations as it relates to proper rotation (FIFO), stocking and storage.Ensure proper operation of freezers, refrigerators, and walk-in coolers and notify management of any equipment repairs needed.Verify proper temperature controls are in place (TCS).Issue food and beverage goods by following proper procedures prescribed by Q Center policies, which include recording and delivery to only authorized associates.Keep dock, storerooms, freezers, and coolers organized, swept and mopped.Maintain par levels for all items as required by management.Accurately record all items received and issued to minimize variances; use computer and proper system to record all transactions.Assist Food & Beverage inventories.The Q Center:Q Center is more than a conference center – it’s an experience!
