We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Control Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of industrial automation and control systems. This role involves working with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, instrumentation, and process control technologies to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and safety across manufacturing and industrial environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and support industrial control and automation systems.Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems.Configure and maintain SCADA, HMI, and DCS applications.Support system integration involving sensors, actuators, motors, drives, and instrumentation devices.Assist in commissioning, startup, and validation of automation systems.Analyze process performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.Troubleshoot automation, electrical, and instrumentation-related issues.Develop and maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and operating procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and process engineers.Ensure compliance with company safety standards and industry regulations.Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.0–5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or related areas.Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial control systems.Knowledge of electrical circuits, instrumentation, and process control principles.Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, or OPC.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi PLC platforms.Exposure to SCADA and HMI development tools.Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other engineering software tools.Internship or project experience in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or process industries.Understanding of Industry 4.0, IIoT, and smart manufacturing concepts.Technical SkillsAutomation PlatformsAllen-Bradley PLCSiemens PLCSchneider Electric PLCMitsubishi PLCSCADA/HMI ToolsFactoryTalk ViewIgnitionWonderwareWinCCEngineering ToolsAutoCAD ElectricalMATLAB/SimulinkPythonMicrosoft Office SuitePreferred IndustriesManufacturingSemiconductorAutomotivePharmaceuticalFood & BeverageChemical ProcessingEnergy & UtilitiesRobotics & AutomationEmail your updated resume to: deepak@maximatek.com
