The Insurance Sales Agent will identify prospective customers, assess their needs, and recommend suitable MetLife insurance and financial products. The role includes building and maintaining a portfolio of clients, conducting consultations in person and by phone, and presenting product options in a clear and compliant manner. The Insurance Sales Agent will follow up on leads, prepare quotes, complete applications, and support customers through underwriting and policy issuance. Daily responsibilities also include meeting sales targets, documenting all interactions in CRM systems, collaborating with internal teams, and staying current on MetLife products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship-building skills with a focus on consultative selling and long-term client partnerships.Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.Basic financial literacy and comfort discussing insurance, protection planning, and related financial products with diverse customers.Solid organizational, time management, and follow-up skills to manage multiple leads, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems to track activities, update client records, and manage the sales pipeline.Ability to work on-site in Jordan, PA, with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to regulatory and ethical standards.High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.State insurance license (or eligibility and willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe); prior insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
