Role Description The Assistant Pastry Chef plays a key role in supporting the pastry team in delivering exceptional dessert and baked goods for our world-class dining experiences. Responsibilities include preparing, baking, and designing pastry items, ensuring high-quality standards, and assisting in the development of new recipes. The role also involves maintaining a clean baking environment, monitoring inventory for pastry supplies, and adhering to proper food safety and sanitation standards. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Charleston, SC. Qualifications Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniquesStrong skills in Food Preparation and CookingComprehensive knowledge of Culinary Skills related to pastry creationAttention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with inventory management and ensuring food safety compliancePrevious experience in professional pastry or bakery operations is preferredCulinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts is a plusStrong teamwork and communication skills
