Mechanics inspect, repair, or overhaul buses, trucks, and if you have diesel experience that a plus. mechanics do the following: Follow a checklist of inspection proceduresTest drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctionsRead and interpret diagnostic test results from diagnostic equipment such as an oscilloscope, which is used to measure the voltage produced by electronic componentsRaise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoistsInspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehiclesDo routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and partsAdjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system componentsRepair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipmentTest-drive vehicles to ensure that they run smoothly Responsibilities and Duties: Performs routine and preventative maintenance busesPerform safety inspections every 30 days along with documentationDiagnoses malfunctions and performs vehicle repairsMaintains a safe, clean, productive and efficient work area.Job site will include Inglewood and Carson 21 years or older (with 2 years Verified driving experience)Comprehensive Benefits Package Medical, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance, etc. Opportunities for advancement No week ends No Holidays Paid trainingsJob Type: Full-time Starting Salary: $19.00
