This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of our advanced RFICs. This role demands an experienced engineer familiar with the testing of RFICs (10-40GHz) who also possesses clear communication skills and can work with the design engineers to ensure products are testable and meet performance targets.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop test solutions for highly integrated Silicon mm-wave RFICsSupport Design Engineering through evaluation, optimization and debug of first siliconCharacterize products to develop datasheet specificationsSupport the development of customer facing collateral for product operationParticipate in cross functional teams to support design reviews, test coverage, 8D and customer issuesQualificationsBSEE or MSEE with at least 15 years of relevant experience in RF Test EngineeringIn-depth understanding of RF network analyzers, including calibration methodologies, calset manipulation and advanced measurementsExperience in RF measurements from X-band through W-band products at the IC or device levelStrong Python programming abilities, including demonstrated familiarity with numpy and matplotlib libraries for data processing and visualization. Experience in developing UIs with PyQt preferred but not required.Experience in analyzing large data sets using Spotfire or similar data analysis software. Good understanding of statistical data analysis and DoE. Ability to interface to digital control (SCAN testing, STIL files, SPI). FPGA experience preferred but not requiredStrong communication skills to work across multiple departments including Sales, R&D, New Product Development and Introduction teamsHighly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership to drive high level tasks to completionThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company. Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $168,000 - $218,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
