In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances, ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless experience at home. Key Responsibilities:Conduct service visits at customers' homes to effectively diagnose and repair appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers. Deliver exceptional customer service by providing detailed explanations of necessary repairs, offering estimates, and addressing any customer inquiries. Handle payment collection during service visits. Identify and order required parts, ensuring they are accounted for in the work order. Utilize strong computer skills to efficiently navigate various systems. Maintain truck inventory and ensure cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Adhere to a truck maintenance schedule, ensuring safety and functionality. Uphold a clean and safe working environment. Execute additional tasks as needed to support team success. Proficient in using computers, including laptops and tablets, while in the field. Effective time management and organizational skills. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with colleagues. Credentials:High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Advanced courses in mechanics or electrical systems preferred. EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification. At least 3 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing household appliances. A valid driver's license and a willingness to undergo a background check. Physical Requirements:This role demands regular physical activity including: Lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds with appropriate support. Utilizing specific visual abilities to distinguish details and focus as needed. Engaging in various physical activities such as standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, and walking.
