Looking for a Portal developer to analyze, develop, implement and maintaini effective software and process solutions to both internal and external customersNote: This is a hybrid position.Independently develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.Apply extensive knowledge and expertise of enterprise applications and development to analyze, program, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power platform cloud- based enterprise software in support of business objectives.Determine the root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.Responsible for the analysis, development, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support of the enterprise software applicationMaintain databases of client information with the strictest attention to privacy and security.Administer credit card payment process. Design, implement, monitor, upgrade credit card transaction integration for EDA web sites. Coordinate payment workflows with business units. Troubleshoot applicant payment issues. Secure PCI compliance certifications and enforce credit card processing best practices.Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make technical recommendations to team as necessary.Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.Manages and monitors web related hardware, software and components in order to ensure successful operation of web sites and to minimize downtime.Ensure that API communications between existing/new web applications and cloud-based services (such as Microsoft Azure active directory, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Policy Map) are operational, secure and that data transfer is unimpeded.Researches latest tools and technologies to enhance the features and performance of applications then makes recommendation to teamManages SQL Databases and other data connections the web applications communicate with other systems including 3rd party systems.Strategizes with IT management and other leaders of the EDA on complex initiatives; makes recommendations on solutions to accomplish the needed results timely and effectively.Translates business requirements into viable technical architectures, database schemas, and designs. Analyzes system specifications and translates system requirements into tasks. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear codeDesign, develop, modify, implement and support software components anywhere in the software stack. Supports the deployed applications through debugging, fixing, and maintenance releases.Analyzes the quality of the current web applications and provides recommendations.Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members.Audit other software engineer’s code and give constructive feedback. Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.Mentor software engineers to allow for skill/knowledge through advice, coaching, and training.Provides technical assistance to assist in implementation of best practicesProvides recurring knowledge transfer session with appropriate IT staff.Maintains and modifies custom built applications and off the shelf products as required by user requests.
