Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist Needed Near Barnesville, PA (j-227504) Are you a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Hospitalist seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide exceptional care to newborns in a supportive environment? We're seeking a qualified physician to join our team and play a vital role in our Level 1 Nursery, ensuring the health and well-being of our tiniest patients. What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive inpatient care to newborns and occasional pediatric patients. Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans. Perform essential procedures such as circumcisions, UVC placements, and lumbar punctures. Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals within a family-centered care model. Maintain meticulous documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment for the entire team. Qualifications: Board-certified (BC) in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Active Pennsylvania (PA) state medical license. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. Must possess clear state police, FBI, and child abuse clearances. Minimum two years of experience managing at least 24 pediatric inpatients per month within the past 12 months, or successful completion of an approved residency or clinical fellowship within the past year. Clean malpractice history. Prior experience with the EPIC EMR system is a plus, but training will be provided. A valid PA license is preferred, but not mandatory. Ready to Make a Difference?
