Construction Superintendent

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive Retail and/or Restaurant Construction site experience, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of construction management software and scheduling tools. Duties Lead daily operations on the construction site, supervising teams of workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schedules to coordinate activities effectively. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam to develop project schedules, track progress, and manage documentation. Oversee construction schedule coordination to meet project milestones while managing budgets through accurate estimating and cost control measures. Enforce federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and OSHA-compliant safety protocols; conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks. Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers; review contractual documents to ensure scope adherence and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a strong background in Retail or Resataurnt construction Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role with supervisory experience on active sites. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics; proficient in blueprint reading.
