No Recruiters Please!* The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the shipping, transportation, and delivery of materials to meet and exceed customer requirements and business expectations. This role partners with freight forwarders, customs brokers, vendors, and 3PL providers to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials throughout the supply chain. The Logistics Manager will lead daily logistics operations while driving a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Escalate employee relations issues to DC Manager and HR as appropriateLead work requirements on floor to exceed customer expectations as measured within given KPI’sRedirect and position resources as needed to achieve high DIFOT resultsEnsure the Distribution Center and assigned work areas are kept organized and cleanRequest the use of temporary labor during peak times of operation or for special projects to meet requirementsAssist Distribution Center Manager in handling other issues that may arise as directedCoordinate with HR Generalist on all related onboarding and offboarding needs. Ensure newly hired associates complete all required training and report completion rateAssess and resolve issues relating to vendor compliance, import/export activities, and logistics systemsMaintain accurate logistics data for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including KPIs, vendor performance, transportation metrics, and service levelsPartner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Customer Service, Planning, and Warehouse Operations to create effective inbound and outbound schedulesServe as the liaison between customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teamsResearch and facilitate customs compliance inquiries, including tariff codes and USMCA requirementsTroubleshoot operational flow interruptions impacting inbound and outbound material movementEnsure shipping procedures comply with all safety standards, DOT regulations, hazmat requirements, and company policiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on transportation efficiency, shipping accuracy, dock utilization, labor productivity, and cost reductionIdentify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions using Lean methodologies and root cause problem-solving techniquesSupport and participate in Kaizen events, process mapping activities, and standard work developmentDevelop and monitor logistics KPIs, including on-time delivery, freight cost, dock-to-stock timing, shipment accuracy, carrier performance, and inventory flow efficiencyAnalyze trends and operational data to identify opportunities for waste elimination and improved operational performanceProactively communicate shipment information, including delays, shortages, route changes, or expedited deliveries to internal and external customersStay informed on logistics industry trends, transportation regulations, and best practices while identifying opportunities for operational enhancementAnalyze vendor invoices and freight charges against contracted rates to ensure billing accuracy and cost controlPlan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipment schedules to optimize operational flowMaintain organized documentation and provide reports to internal stakeholders and customers as requiredLead associate development through coaching, training, mentorship, and performance feedbackSupport associate engagement initiatives while reinforcing the company's core values and continuous improvement cultureMonitor team and individual performance while establishing clear expectations and measurable goalsMotivate and develop team members to perform efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivityPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline through daily communication and performance managementSupport warehouse operational initiatives and perform additional duties as assignedWhat You Should HaveAssociates degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or Business Equivalent2-5 years experience in lead or supervisor role within a distribution environmentUnderstand Distribution material flow requirements and be able to execute in a very action-oriented mannerStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a range of stakeholdersGreen Belt Certified a PlusExhibit Company Core Values of Communication, Cooperation, Consideration, Accountability, and Innovation Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a teamInitiates and generates activitBusiness degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressive logistics or supply chain experience with demonstrated knowledge of import/export requirementsExperience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environmentStrong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S/6S, and waste elimination principles preferredExperience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and reporting toolsProven ability to analyze operational data and drive process improvements through KPI managementExperience developing standard work, process documentation, and operational proceduresAbility to lead and develop a team of 3 to 5 associates, including remote associates Exhibit Company Core Values of Consideration, Communication, Cooperation, Accountability, and InnovationDemonstrated commitment to promoting a strong safety culture and operational complianceStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, and operational disciplineAbility to adapt to changing business needs while maintaining focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement Ability to travel up to 50% Why It's Great To Work HereState of the art brand new facility -
