DescriptionWestaff Hiring Machine Operators in Wallingford, CT!Training available for the right candidate with technical schooling, machine operating, or metal cutting background!Shifts: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm), or 3rd shift (11:30pm - 7am) Pay Rate: $19+, depending on experience and opportunity for advancement Machine Operator Responsibilities:Accurately cut large slabs of metal (1,000-10,000 lbs) using precision measurements and metal-cutting machineryProcess, package, and prepare cut materials for shipmentOperate forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes as neededLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyMachine Operator Required Skills:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsExperience in machine operations and/or metal cuttingComfortable using computers and basic softwareStrong understanding of basic math: fractions, decimals, measurementsTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsApply Today for Immediate Consideration!Westaffjobs30Experience in machine operations and/or metal cutting
