As part of Constellation Software, IDS combines deep industry expertise with a strong focus on innovation, customer partnership, and reliable support.Position SummaryAs the Initiatives Manager, you’ll research the market to find common industry needs and lead select growth initiatives from idea to launch. You’ll coordinate resources, measure results, and share clear, data-based recommendations with leaders at key decision points. You’ll also help ensure we get strong returns—and stop quickly when an initiative isn’t working.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch the market to understand customer problems and propose solutions to buildCreate and own a business plan for each initiative, and drive milestones and resultsBuild and validate financial models for new ideas, including ROI analysisMake clear go/no-go recommendations to executive leaders at key decision pointsShare progress, risks, and decisions with senior stakeholders clearly and consistentlyDefine project stages, timelines, and deliverables; assign work and align resourcesWork with leaders to secure the right people and resources at the right timePartner with customers and internal teams to validate problems, test solutions, and adjust directionTrack results and learnings, and recommend the best next stepsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, or a related fieldExperience in product management, strategy, consulting, business development, or a similar role working with customers and internal teamsAble to structure unclear problems, analyze data, and turn findings into practical recommendationsComfortable presenting to senior leaders and influencing decisionsExperience in B2B software (SaaS, ERP, or other vertical software) preferredExperience with dealerships, OEMs, or automotive/RV/marine-related businesses preferredExposure to pricing, packaging, commercialization, or go-to-market planning preferredCompetencies Business acumen: Understands how businesses operate and can spot opportunities where products/services can solve customer needsEntrepreneurial mindset: Enjoys early-stage work, moves fast, and learns through iterationInfluence and leadership: Can align stakeholders and keep work moving across teamsProject/program management: Can plan, organize, and execute work across stages with attention to detailCommunication: Strong writing, presenting, and stakeholder-management skillsFinancial and analytical capability: Able to build and interpret models and metrics to guide investment decisionsSalary Range (US Only):The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $100,000-$120,000 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.Other Compensation (US Only):This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan.
