Responsibilities:Work in a customer's home but may be exposed to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness when in transportation.May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfacesMay have exposure to dust, gas, fumes or chemicalsOn occasion, you may use special visual or auditory protective equipmentWill occasionally climb stairs and work off elevated surfacesFrequently work with biohazards for Commercial Technicians onlyAbility to sit, walk and crawl occasionallyAbility to stand, squat, kneel and dexterity to bend/twist neck and waist, frequentlyAbility to use hands repetitively and power/simple grasp constantlyAbility for fine manipulation of hands as well as pushing, pulling and reaching above and below shoulder level constantlyPhysical ability to lift, pull and push products up to 50 pounds frequentlyPhysical ability to lift, pull and push products that weigh more than 100+ pounds occasionallyAbility to carry items up to 6 feet occasionally.Position Requirement:100% local daily travel requiredMust be able to work in the New York areaMust be able to travel in (Manhattan – subway) 5 mile radius to assistant clientsMust be able to handle 4-6 service calls per dayMust have a valid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Flexible to work Monday-Friday and any 8 hours between 7AM-5PMKnowledge of basic plumbing and electrical skillsGood computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to apply concepts of basic mathAbility to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos in EnglishAbility to multi-task Ability to work professionally with colleagues and be a team playerAbility to manage difficult customer situationsMust be self-motivated, customer-oriented person with excellent communication skillsMust pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screening, illegal drug tests and credit checks.
