We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact for patients, responsible for answering inbound calls, managing messages, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting and applying payments, and supporting program coordination. This role is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional who enjoys creating a positive patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a growing mental health practice. Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a high degree of professionalism!Patient Care Coordinator Duties:Answer telephones and emails promptly and in a polite and professional mannerDocument concise, thorough, and accurate information in the EMRSchedules appointments for existing and new patients, utilizes Zoom for telehealth linksSecure medication prior authorizations from insurance companiesAssist patients in completing all necessary formsUnderstand when to escalate calls to clinicians/Office Manager/DirectorMatch new patients with appropriate clinician and initiate the new consultation processCreate and transmit letters and other correspondence on behalf of the cliniciansCollect patient fees/process credit card transactionsAssist with accounts receivable follow up and patient outreach for updated credit cardsAssist with other office duties as neededPatient Care Coordinator Benefits: 401(k) retirement plan with employer match up to 4%Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependentsHSA (with employer contribution) and FSA options to help manage healthcare and dependent care expensesEmployer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health and life support resourcesGenerous paid time off and additional paid holidaysRequirementsPatient Care Coordinator Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of healthcare or hospitality experience preferredProficiency with EMR, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SalesForce and other web-based platformsPhysical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.May require long periods of sitting and standing.Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.Work is performed in an open office environment and involves frequent contact with staff, patients, and the public.The Ross Center is a well-established, clinician-led mental health practice delivering evidence-based therapy, psychiatry, and assessment services.
