Your health and safety are our number one priority, and we will do our best to accommodate within reason.Essential FunctionThe Senior Maintenance and Reliability Engineer will leverage advanced knowledge and technical skills to implement continuous improvements in process and asset reliability by identifying and eliminating defects in our systems and machines.Duties And Responsibilities Develops and implements maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Conducts root cause analysis for equipment failures to identify and address underlying issues. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes and improve asset management. Monitors and analyzes equipment performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Lead initiatives to minimize downtime and enhance operational performance. Facilitates collaboration among diverse teams, including Production Managers, Maintenance Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, Operators, and craftsmen, employing RCM, FME, and other methodologies Offers technical guidance to plant staff on diagnosing failures, conducting repairs, and assessing equipment reliability, as well as suggesting design enhancements to ensure optimal performance under current or anticipated service conditions. Ensures that repairs, repair methods, and equipment-specific training are properly documented and accessible, while also ensuring compliance with established standards. Facilitates the shift from reactive maintenance practices to a proactive approach in asset management. Own the CMMS system (EMaint), This includes developing the database and understanding what is required for CMMS system best practices. Other duties as assigned Essential/Skills Needed Ability to assess and measure the effects of projects, including equipment reconfigurations, design modifications, and equipment quality, on the capacity to fulfill customer requirements. Strong technical expertise in reliability engineering principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to utilize the CMMS, revise equipment information, preventive maintenance task lists, critical spare parts inventories, and diagnostic procedures as needed to enhance reliability. Must have the capability to identify and prioritize problematic assets to reduce maintenance costs and focus on recapitalization efforts. English comprehension including speaking, reading, and writing is required for our business's necessity to ensure a safe and effective work environment. Education And Experience Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Extensive technical expertise in implementing Maintenance techniques within industrial manufacturing processes. Five (5) or more years of reliability experience within an industrial manufacturing environment preferably in mid-sized manufacturing companies in a similar industry Bachelor’s Degree in Reliability, Mechanical or Electrical in Engineering; Advanced degree in this or related field is highly desirable. Certification in Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable. Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferably EMaint preferred. Physical Requirements Required to stand, sit, for an entire shift. Requires lifting, pushing and pulling up to fifty (50) pounds. Requires infrequent repetitive motion. Requires bending, twisting, stooping, and squatting. Must be able to work in various indoor temperatures including elevated heat, humidity, and cold. Infrequently exposed to elevated noise levels which occur below OSHA thresholds. Exposure to various spices and food manufacturing smells throughout a work shift. Ability to climb up and down a step stool ladder.
