Senior Electrical Engineer

ESI is seeking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer, P.E. to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a P.E. License, and ten years of experience in the design of electrical systems for industrial capital projects.Responsibilities:Lead the electrical engineering activities for industrial projectsElectrical system modelingPreparation of electrical drawings, construction specifications, cable tray, conduit, and cabling designsSpecification of switchgear, MCC’s, transformers, motors, lighting panels, lighting, PLC’s, VFD’s, etc.Coordination of subcontract packages for electrical contractorsMaintain one-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.Travel to the project construction site as needed throughout the duration of the project (approximately 10% travel)Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) LicenseTen years of experience in the design of electrical power systemsExperience using the latest version of AutoCAD or RevitExperience with power system modeling software (ETAP, SKM, Easypower)Specific experience working for an EPC firm involved in steam and power generation projects would be a PLUS
