Software Engineer in Test

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for enterprise applications.Lead end-to-end (E2E) testing across web applications and integrated systems to ensure high-quality releases.Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and related automation tools.Create and execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, functional, and integration test suites.Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability.Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools.Validate UI, API, database, and cross-browser functionality across multiple environments.Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployments.Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve automation coverage and framework stability.Perform root cause analysis and recommend quality improvements to reduce production defects.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across Agile teams.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.Ensure adherence to SDLC, STLC, and software quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.
