Atomic Transport is a leading bulk hauling company based out of Chattanooga with a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 driver employees that specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. We are looking for dedicated drivers in the Decatur, AL area to help fulfill our local lanes. What We Offer: $1,500/week average weekly Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 Home Daily, day shift Paid holidays, vacation time, and orientation Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a commercial vehicle from transfer stations to landfills, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Navigate and position trailers on a tipper safely Unhook trailer before tipping load Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) Immediately report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to Operations and Safety Managers Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company safety policies Schedule: Monday to Friday Half-day Saturdays as needed 4 local runs per day Shifts over 10 hours Benefits 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Health savings account (HSA) Life and disability insurance Paid referral program Employee discounts Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent CDL A driving experience Consistent employment history Ability to work shifts longer than 10 hours Clean driving record Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Must reside in or near Athens/Decatur, AL
