Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a positive first impression of our establishment. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and supporting the overall dining or hospitality experience. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with excellent communication skills and a polished appearance. The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, making their experience memorable from the moment they arrive. Duties Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems Answer phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette and assist with reservation bookings or guest questions Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, including menus and waiting lists Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth seating flow and timely service Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance guest relations Monitor waiting times and communicate effectively with guests about wait status Support guest services by providing information about the restaurant Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and professionalism at all times Qualifications Previous host/host experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently Experience with POS systems Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving standards, and hospitality best practices preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and poise Hospitality experience is advantageous but not required Friendly demeanor with a polished appearance and strong interpersonal skills Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 35.0 per week Work Location: In person
