Software Engineer 1

Root Source is seeking a Software Engineer 1 who will develop and sustain integrated, feature-rich capabilities that promote modernization of visualization and presentation tools. The software development team will provide application development and support to tools that allow mission analytic users to view existing data or contribute new information in a collaborative environment. Description Responsibilities: Develop and sustain integrated capabilities for visualization and presentation tools Provide application development and support for mission analytic users Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline Seven years of SWE experience in similar programs and contracts US Citizenship Active TS/SCI with Poly Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Java, Python, testing, source code control, IDE, Maven, Spring Boot, Django Familiarity with analytical development, virtualization environments, streaming frameworks, and databases Experience using ElasticSearch Analyze user requirements, debug software, design and code new features, integrate software, write documentation, and more. Hybrid telecommute available for this position.
