In our world, a hotel is much more than a destination to meet, dine, or sleep. Rather, it is a dynamic site of imagery and emotions, interactions and sensations manifesting within the walls of a beautifully restored local legend - a living movie set. An ASH hotel is a connection to the past and a beacon for the future, layered in nuanced storytelling that invites exploration time and againLike Richmond, Shenandoah Mansions is a place of revived, impossible contradictions: between North and South, old-world and new age, urban and nature, charm and grit. ASH NYC has blended and condensed these contrasts into Shenandoah Mansions – a six-story boutique hotel in Richmond’s bohemian Fan District. Whether on advertising business or an architecture tour of the neighborhood’s Queen-Anne estates, our three F&B spaces (The Phone Inn, Lobby Bar, and the third installment of ASH-Bar) bring together work and pleasure over a single-malt. The hotel’s pine-wood lobby, private garden, 73 guest rooms, and 4 luxury suites connect the folklore and craftsmanship of the Shenandoah valley under one historic roof.
