Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled PHP + Frontend Developer with strong experience in Laravel and modern frontend development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building responsive, maintainable web applications using Laravel, Tailwind CSS, and HTMX, with a solid understanding of XML technologies and document transformation and validation.
Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.Use HTMX to implement dynamic, interactive frontend functionality with minimal JavaScript.
Design, develop, and maintain server-side application logic, RESTful APIs, and database integrations.
Work extensively with XML documents, including transformation using XSLT and validation using XSD.Design and maintain XML schemas and transformation templates for structured data processing.
Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS for responsive UI development.
- Experience with HTMX for server-driven, dynamic web interfaces.
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and XSD, including:
- Creating and processing XML documents.
- Writing and maintaining XSLT transformations.
- Defining and validating XML structures using XSD schemas.
- Troubleshooting XML parsing, transformation, and validation issues.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.Experience with SQL, database design, and query optimization.
- Understanding of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Git and standard software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building server-rendered applications with Laravel and HTMX.Familiarity with Blade templates and Laravel's request/response lifecycle.
Experience integrating external systems that exchange XML data.
Knowledge of XML namespaces, XPath, and XSLT 2.0 or 3.0 is an advantage.
Understanding of web security best practices and application performance optimization.
Experience writing automated tests for PHP applications.
