Safety Storage, Inc., a renowned manufacturer of hazardous storage containment, is seeking a dedicated Laborer/Drywaller to join our team in Charleston, Illinois. **Overview:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Laborer/Drywall Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of drywall in our hazardous material storage and containment systems. PAID WEEKLY ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS AFTER 30 DAYS **Duties:** Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific spaces. Install drywall panels using screws, nails, or adhesive. Apply tape and joint compound to seams and edges, ensuring a smooth finish. Assist with the installation and assembly of prefabricated storage and containment systems. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Perform other general labor tasks as needed. **Experience:** Proven experience as a drywall installer or similar role. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in drywall installation. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
