Construction Superintendent

MacKenzie Contracting Company is seeking a highly-motivated and driven Construction Superintendent to join their growing team.Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to:SafetyOversee/monitor day-to-day safety proceduresConduct weekly Toolbox Safety TalksConduct safety inspections on a regular basis and provide written notification of safety deficienciesEnforce all MOSH/OSHA regulationsKeep/collect all MSDS sheetsMaintain a clean safe jobsite at all timesSchedulingWork with Project Manager to develop the project scheduleProvide 2-week look-ahead schedules and review with subcontractorsEnsure that subcontractors meet milestone schedules and overall schedule requirementsProvide documentation to support any delays caused by change orders/additional workProvide any field reports documenting details of subcontractor activities, manpower counts, conversations, and photosQuality ControlGain a thorough understanding of contract documentsUnderstand and enforce all subcontract agreements and vendor purchase ordersMaintain project files with all current correspondence and document updatesCoordinate all project activities with subcontractorsStrive to maintain a positive and productive jobsite at all timesExperience RequirementsPrior experience in the role of Project SuperintendentAbility to communicate and interface with the project owner/rep and design teamComputer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel experienceBenefitsCompetitive bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision insurance401kPTOAbout MacKenzie Contracting CompanyMacKenzie Contracting Company, LLC, established in 1988, is an award-winning, full-service general contracting and construction management firm offering a full range of pre-construction, general contracting, ground-up construction, renovations, and project management assistance for our clients.
