S/He will be responsible for ensuring a friendly and compassionate organization. In this role, you will work as the initial point of contact of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients and other visitors. You will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring that our environment is welcoming, calm, and quiet for our patients and their families.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the day-to-day operations of a high volume multi-specialty practiceMeet and greet patients, verify insurance eligibility and demographicsProcess patient arrivals quickly and efficientlyCollect patients copayments, deductible and patient’s balancesAssist with scheduling and confirming appointmentsAnswers incoming callsDesired Skills and ExperienceStrong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skillsCompetence in EMR Athena Health, Microsoft Word and ExcelExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to handle stressful situations with tact and professionalismAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingDemonstrate logical reasoning and critical thinking skillsDetail oriented with highly organized work skillsEffective listening skills with excellent customer satisfaction skillsKnowledge of medical terminology and treatment processesSecondary language is a plus (Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish)Education and CertificationGraduate with a BA/BS degree2 – 5 years of experience in a medical practice or hospitalityWe hope we sparked your interest.
