This role involves operating CNC lathes, mills, drill presses, manual rollers, and saws, as well as performing initial quality checks and machine setup. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and a commitment to excellence and safety.CNC Machine Operator ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery and manual equipment (rollers, saws, hand tools) for production tasksLearn and perform machine setups based on production requirementsInput computer commands to retrieve and modify part data and visual templatesCalculate machining criteria such as spindle location, feed rate, and tool specsStore and manage layouts within CNC memory for future production useConduct initial quality control inspections on all completed partsWear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc.) at all timesAll other duties as assigned by managementCNC Machine Operator Skills And CompetenciesAbility to read blueprints and understand machining instructionsStrong basic math skillsFamiliarity with DOS and CNC interfacesVisual inspection ability for quality assuranceEffective interpersonal and communication skillsCNC Machine Operator QualificationsAt least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferredAbility to operate CNC and related machineryWillingness to be trained on more advanced equipmentWork EnvironmentWork may occur indoors and outdoors in both climate-controlled and non-controlled settings with exposure to noise, fumes, and varying weather conditions.Physical RequirementsStand up to 10 hours daily; walk, climb, stoop, bend, and twist frequentlyUse hands for repetitive motions and foot controls occasionallyLift up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally with assistancePush/pull pallet jacks up to 4000 lbs with team supportBenefitsHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDental Insurance401kPaid Time OffProfit SharingCounseling
