ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician in Nassau County, NY

We are seeking an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to teach clients with autism/autistic clients a variety of new skills. ABA Therapist Responsibilities: Have fun and make learning fun for clients! Implement ABA treatment plans developed and overseen by a Board-Certified-Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) Work closely with the BCBA/LBA to communicate the clients needs Communicate well with the BCBA/LBA and the family members to ensure effective treatment ABA Therapist Qualifications: Previous experience in working with children (working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus) Compassionate and caring demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent play skills Job Types: Part-time, Internship Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour Ability to Commute: Nassau County, NY (Required) Ability to Relocate: Nassau County, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
