From building automation, lighting controls, and systems integration, CMS has a solution for every type of facility.Title: Engineering Support / Warehouse ManagerDepartment(s): CMS ControlsReports to: DDC Construction Operations ManagerJob SummaryThe candidate for this position will be responsible for all functions associated with the Warehouse (Shipping, Receiving and management), Panel Shop assembling UL Panels and supporting Engineering with generating as-built drawings utilizing Microsoft Visio, ordering and tracking materials.Essential Job FunctionsPanel Construction: Assembling UL Panels (Low Voltage 24VAC)Warehouse Management: Material receiving, organizing and maintaining the inventory utilizing a Microsoft Excel database of parts for each project.Shipping and maintaining records for shipments and material delivery.Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.Assist Engineering team with As-built documentation / O&M manual creation and Parts ordering.Minimum RequirementsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Etc.)Must be self-motivated with excellent people and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks at one time , understand priorities and keep an up to date To-Do ListAbility to use hand tools and understand wiring diagrams for UL Panel constructionValid NC driver license needed for occasional material deliveriesTime Management/PlanningDemonstrates ability to accurately determine job priorities by:adhering to planned schedulelooking ahead to identify scheduling conflictshandling interruptions in strideLearn to plan project requirements and informs manager when work needs to be completed or additional resources are required.Internal and External RelationsBuild and maintain rapport and positive working relations with all intra-company, intra-affiliate, and staff to resolve problems, exploit opportunities and maximize profit. Coordinate with all departments to assure proper and timely flow of parts, panels and data.Build rapport and productive working relationships with customers, vendors, and other outside agents.
